Data Migration Lead

As a Lead Data Migration Specialist at Corning located in Baner, Pune, you will be responsible for leading the data migration team for deployment projects. Your role will involve providing guidance to the team to ensure seamless data migration from legacy systems to S/4 HANA. Collaborating with PMO and other relevant teams will be crucial to support data loads and cutover processes effectively. You should have a proven track record in delivering complex data management projects, covering all stages of the project life cycle such as scoping, planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go-live phases. Expertise in Cutover Planning, Project Planning, and Project Design is essential for this role. Your experience should include handling data migrations from systems like Peoplesoft, ECC, or other legacy sources to S/4 HANA using tools like Syniti ADM/BODS. Knowledge of SAP Hana Data Migration, especially in areas like OTC, PTP, RTP, and RTR, will be beneficial. You will be expected to lead the ETL support process, ensuring compliance with project standards and delivering high-quality solutions. Your responsibilities will also involve creating migration functional and technical designs, as well as driving decision-making processes. Strong communication and documentation skills are necessary, along with the ability to work effectively with global teams and coordinate work delivery between onsite and offshore teams. Given the nature of global projects and remote working environments, flexibility in work timings is required. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Data Migration within large transformation programs. A bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with proficiency in SAP S/4 or ECC data migration, is required. Working with global and cross-functional teams, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), proficiency in Microsoft Office, Syniti ADM, SQL Server are essential for success in this role.,
