Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement
end-to-end data migration pipelines
using Apache NiFi.
Develop custom processors and scripts using
Python
to support data transformation, validation, and enrichment.
Analyze source and target data structures to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
Troubleshoot and optimize existing migration workflows for better performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DBA, DevOps, Application teams) to support migration activities.
Create technical documentation, data mapping sheets, and migration runbooks.
Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices during migration.

Required Skills:

Minimum
3+ years
of experience in Data Migration or Data Engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with
Apache NiFi
(flow design, processors, controllers, templates).
Proficiency in
Python
for automation, parsing, and data transformation tasks.
Knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases.
Experience with JSON, XML, CSV, and other data formats.
Good understanding of ETL concepts, APIs, and data pipelines.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.

Good to Have:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and DevOps pipelines.
Exposure to big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
