Data Ingest Engineer

You are applying for the position of Data Ingest Engineer at NTT DATA in Pune, Maharashtra, India. As a part of the Ingestion team of the DRIFT data ecosystem, your primary focus will be on ingesting data efficiently using the latest technology available at Citi. You will be responsible for ensuring that data is ingested in a timely, complete, and comprehensive manner while continuously seeking innovative solutions to improve data quality for downstream partners. **Responsibilities:** - Partner with multiple management teams for seamless integration of functions to meet objectives and identify system enhancements for deploying new products and process improvements. - Solve high impact problems/projects through detailed evaluation of complex business and system processes, and industry standards. - Provide expertise in applications programming, ensuring that application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint. - Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation based on advanced knowledge of system flow. - Gain comprehensive knowledge of how different business areas integrate to achieve organizational goals. - Conduct in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions. - Act as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, delegating work when required. - Evaluate risks in business decisions, prioritize tasks efficiently, and demonstrate strong leadership and project management skills. - Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication consistently. **Minimum Skills Required:** - 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role. - Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications. - Proficiency in Application Development using JAVA, Scala, Spark. - Familiarity with event-driven applications, streaming data, and technologies such as Confluent Kafka, HDFS, HIVE, SQL, NoSQL, etc. - Experience with various schema and data types like JSON, AVRO, Parquet, etc. - Proficiency in various ELT methodologies and formats such as JDBC, ODBC, API, Web hook, SFTP, etc. - Familiarity with Agile methodology and version control tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Git, etc.). - Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.,
