Description We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance policies and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of data management principles and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Responsibilities Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage data quality and integrity Conduct data audits and assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement Provide training and support to staff on data governance best practices Monitor and report on data governance metrics and performance indicators Skills and Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in data governance or related field Strong understanding of data management principles and practices Familiarity with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) Experience with data quality tools and methodologies Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
