Job Description

Position Summary:

Data Entry Operator

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter data from various source documents into prescribed databases, software, and systems.
Review data for errors, missing information, or inconsistencies, and correct them as needed.
Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Generate reports and retrieve information from databases as requested.
Assist in organizing and filing physical or digital records.
Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to resolve data-related issues.
Maintain logs of activities and completed tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry operator, typist, or similar position (02 years accepted).
Excellent typing speed and accuracy (mention WPM if applicable).
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and data entry software.
Good understanding of databases and data confidentiality principles.

Desirable:

Experience with ERP, CRM, or document management systems.
Familiarity with administrative or clerical duties.
