Job Summary: The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately inputting, verifying, and maintaining various types of data into our computer systems and databases. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and accessibility of our information, supporting various departments, and contributing to overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to data accuracy. Responsibilities: Data Input & Management: Accurately enter data from various source documents (e.g., forms, records, reports, invoices, customer information) into computer systems, databases, or spreadsheets. Prepare and sort source documents for data entry. Verify accuracy and completeness of data before and after entry. Data Verification & Quality Control: Perform regular checks to ensure data consistency and identify any discrepancies or errors. Correct inaccurate data and make necessary modifications. Follow data integrity and security procedures diligently. Record Keeping & Filing: Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for easy data retrieval. Ensure proper archiving of old records as per company policy. Reporting & Support: Generate basic reports or retrieve data as requested by other departments or supervisors. Assist with other administrative and clerical tasks as needed to support office operations. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
