Job Overview

Data Entry Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Enter, update, and maintain market research data in databases, spreadsheets, or specialized tools.
Verify and cross-check data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Clean, categorize, and organize raw survey/field data for analysis.
Support research analysts by preparing structured data sets and basic reports.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive research information.
Identify and correct data entry errors or discrepancies.
Collaborate with field investigators, survey teams, and analysts to ensure smooth data flow.
Assist in generating simple charts, tables, and summaries when required.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, Data Entry Clerk, or similar role.
Fast and accurate typing skills.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, or other database software.
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Basic understanding of market research data (surveys, questionnaires, consumer panels) is an advantage.
Ability to handle large data volumes under deadlines.
Good communication skills and team collaboration.
Under graduate degree is required; a bachelors degree in Business, Commerce, or related field is a plus.
