Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and career development.
  
• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using

• Drive the design and implementation of robust

  data models

  data warehouses/lakes

  to support analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance across all stages of the data lifecycle.
  
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate data solutions into production environments.
  
• Optimize data workflows and performance across large, complex datasets.
  
• Manage stakeholder relationships and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  
• Stay up to date with latest technologies and recommend best practices for data engineering.
  

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
  
• 2+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  
• Deep expertise in

  AWS ecosystem

  , including services like S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena, DynamoDB, and IAM.
• Proficient in

  PySpark

  ,

  SQL

  , and

  Python

  for large-scale data processing and transformation.
• Strong understanding of

  ETL/ELT development

  ,

  data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)

  , and

  data architecture

  .
• Experience in managing data infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Step Functions).
  
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Data Analytics, Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications.
  
• Experience working in Agile environments.
  
• Familiarity with BI tools like QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.
