Data Engineer/ETL Developer - Talend/Power BI

Responsibilities:

• Study, analyze, and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence and provide end-to-end solutions.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines with data quality and integrity across platforms like Talend Enterprise, Informatica.
• Load data from heterogeneous sources like Oracle, MS SQL, file systems, FTP services, REST APIs, etc.
• Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights and build a data catalog.
• Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, and models.
• Analyze previous and current data for better decision-making.
• Make essential technical changes to improve current business intelligence systems.
• Optimize ETL processes for improved performance, monitor ETL jobs, and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead and oversee team deliverables, ensuring best practices are followed in development.
• Participate in and/or lead requirements gathering and analysis.

Required Skillset and Experience

• Up to 3 years of working experience, preferably in SQL and ETL (Talend).
• Must have 1+ years of experience in Talend Enterprise/Open Studio and related tools like:
• Talend API Services
• Talend Data Catalog
• Talend Management Console (TMC)
• Talend Administration Center (TAC)
• Must have understanding of database design and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience in any coding language (Java, Python, etc.).

Secondary Skillset / Good to Have

• Experience in BI tools like Microsoft Power BI.
• Ability to utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
