Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
ETL packages
using
SSIS
.
Optimize existing SSIS packages for
performance and efficiency
.
Write
complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Work with large datasets to
transform and cleanse data
for analytics and reporting.
Perform
data migration and integration
across multiple databases and systems.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand
data requirements
.
Troubleshoot and resolve
data-related issues
and ensure data integrity.
Follow
agile methodologies
and participate in sprint planning and reviews.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong
SSIS
experience with
SSIS optimization
.
Proficiency in
SQL Server / T-SQL
.
Hands-on experience in
ETL development
and
data integration
.
Knowledge of
Data Warehousing concepts
.
Experience with
Visual Studio
and
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
.
Ability to write
complex SQL queries
and optimize them for performance.

Optional / Nice-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to
Power BI, Azure Data Factory, or other BI tools
.
Understanding of
metadata management
and
data modeling
.
Familiarity with
Agile / Scrum methodology
.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
