We are currently seeking SQL Professionals for the role of Data Engineer with 4-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate must have a strong academic background. As a Data Engineer at BNY Mellon in Pune, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Apache Spark and SQL. You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements, optimize and query large datasets, ensure data quality and integrity, implement data governance and security best practices, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot data-related issues promptly. Qualifications for this role include 4-6 years of experience in data engineering, proficiency in SQL and data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, knowledge of database technologies such as SQL Server or Oracle, experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, familiarity with data warehousing solutions, understanding of Python, Scala, or Java for data manipulation, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and good communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
