Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer specializing in Snowflake and SQL, you will play a crucial role in handling complex data operations and optimizing database performance. Your responsibilities will include: - Strong expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries - Proficiency in SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY, JOIN operations - Knowledge of aggregate functions and data roll-up/drill-down - Familiarity with window functions like ROW_NUMBER, RANK, DENSE_RANK, LEAD, LAG - Experience in creating Stored Procedures and User-Defined Functions (UDFs) - Query performance optimization and troubleshooting You will need to demonstrate proficiency in Snowflake Data Platform, including: - In-depth understanding of Snowflake Architecture - Experience with deploying Snowflake on AWS, Azure, or GCP - Data Modeling: Fact and Dimension table design - Database Security & Access Control - Metadata Management and governance - Knowledge of advanced Snowflake features such as Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, and Data Pipeline Automation using Snowpipe Good-to-Have Skills: - Experience in Python scripting for data engineering tasks - Familiarity with Tableau reporting and integration with Snowflake Joining our team will give you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud data warehouse technologies and real-time pipeline integrations.
