Description
You will be involved in the following responsibilities: - Data Pipeline Development: - Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to process large-scale data from various sources. - Implement data ingestion and transformation workflows using tools such as Fivetran, Apache Airflow, and DBT. - Cloud Integration: - Utilize AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda) for efficient data storage and processing. - Collaborate with DevOps to ensure cloud resources are optimized for performance and cost. - Data Quality and Governance: - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems. - Implement data governance practices, including logging, monitoring, and security protocols. - Collaboration and Support: - Work closely with data architects, analysts, and product teams to understand data requirements. - Provide support in deploying and maintaining machine learning pipelines, assisting data scientists where necessary. - Capital Markets Focus: - Develop solutions tailored for capital markets workflows, including market, trading, and risk data. You should bring the following to the table: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience - Hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS Cloud services. - Proficient in ETL/ELT processes. - Strong SQL skills and scripting experience (e.g., Python). - Preferred: Knowledge of capital markets data and financial systems & Exposure to MLOps. - Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. - Certification in AWS or Snowflake is a plus. - Knowledge of MLOps Trading Technologies is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology platform provider to the global capital markets industry.
