• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT ingestion pipelines using SQL and
Python.
• Build and optimize data workflows in Databricks for large-scale data processing.
• Implement and manage data solutions on Azure, including but not limited to Azure Data
Lake, and Azure Data Factory.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data
requirements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and performance issues.
• Document data architecture, processes, and best practices.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or similar role.
• Hands-on experience on ADF, ADB and Pyspark.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying using various tools (Jupyter,
SSMS, DBEaver, etc.)
• Strong programming skills in Python, especially for data processing and ingestion with
API.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Delta Lake and data lakehouse architecture.
• Certifications in Azure or Databricks are a plus.
