Senior Data Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement

  scalable data pipelines

  for both

  batch and real-time data ingestion

  .
• Build and maintain

  stream-processing applications

  using

  Apache Flink, Kafka Streams

  , or similar technologies.
• Work with distributed data processing frameworks such as

  Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink, and MapReduce

  .
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Ensure

  data quality, governance, and security best practices

  in all pipelines.
• Optimize performance and scalability of big data systems.
• Leverage

  cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  for scalable and cost-efficient data solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years

  of professional experience in

  Data Engineering / Software Engineering

  .
• Proficiency in at least one programming language:

  Java, Scala, Python

  (or equivalent).
• Strong experience with

  distributed data technologies

  (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink, MapReduce).
• Hands-on expertise in

  real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines

  .
• Experience with

  stream-processing frameworks

  such as

  Apache Flink, Kafka Streams

  .
• Practical exposure to

  cloud computing platforms

  (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to work independently, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
