Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
Work with large datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide data solutions.
Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and efficiency.
Implement data governance and security protocols to protect sensitive information.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and resolve issues as they arise.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Knowledge of data warehousing solutions and data modeling techniques.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
