Role Overview: As an experienced data engineer, you will join a global data analytics team in the Group Chief Technology Officer / Enterprise Architecture organization to support strategic initiatives ranging from portfolio health to integration. You will have the opportunity to work on developing data applications, producing clear documentation, and collaborating with technology support teams to ensure timely deliverables. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Group Enterprise Architecture team in developing EA tools and workbenches - Support the development of portfolio health insights within the development team - Build data applications spanning from cloud infrastructure to visualization layer - Write clear and well-commented code - Create comprehensive documentation for developed solutions - Collaborate with technology support teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables - Provide support for presentations, communications, and trainings - Work as a team player across the organization, indirectly managing and influencing others - Be proactive in informing and educating colleagues Qualifications Required: - B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in computing or related field - 5-8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a large corporate environment - Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data processing - Strong experience with Microsoft Azure - Familiarity with visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or QlikView - Experience working with Git, JIRA, and GitLab - Strong aptitude for data analytics and IT architecture metrics - Excellent stakeholder interaction and communication skills - Understanding of performance implications in design decisions for efficient and maintainable software - Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle process - Demonstrated ability to deliver complex data applications within tight timelines - Fluent in English, both written and spoken - Passion for development focused on data and cloud technologies - Strong analytical and logical skills with effective problem-solving abilities - Comfortable leading complex tasks and collaborating in cross-functional global teams - Passion for continuous learning and development of professional skills Additional Company Details: (No additional company details were provided in the job description) Role Overview: As an experienced data engineer, you will join a global data analytics team in the Group Chief Technology Officer / Enterprise Architecture organization to support strategic initiatives ranging from portfolio health to integration.
