Job Summary

AI-Enabled Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex

  SQL queries

  across Teradata, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Build and maintain scalable

  data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows

  on Azure.
• Develop data ingestion and transformation processes using

  Azure Data Factory (ADF)

  and

  Databricks notebooks

  .
• Work closely with

  AI/ML teams

  to prepare data, integrate models, and operationalize AI solutions.
• Perform large-scale data processing using

  Apache Spark (Databricks)

  .
• Ensure

  data quality, governance, security, and compliance

  across cloud and hybrid platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline and query performance.
• Implement automation and scheduling for data workflows.
• Maintain technical documentation for data architecture, pipelines, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in

  Data Engineering / Analytics Engineering

  roles.
• Strong proficiency in

  SQL

  with hands-on experience in

  Teradata and Snowflake

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Databricks

  and

  Spark/PySpark

  .
• Strong experience with

  Azure cloud services

  , including:
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Blob / Data Lake Storage
• Azure DevOps
• Experience building and optimizing

  ETL/ELT pipelines

  .
• Exposure to

  AI/ML workflows

  , including data preparation and model integration.
• Solid understanding of

  data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization

  .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Proficiency in

  Python or Scala

  for data engineering and AI integration.
• Experience with

  CI/CD pipelines

  and

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  in Azure.
• Hands-on experience with

  feature engineering

  and ML data pipelines.
• Knowledge of

  data governance, security, and compliance frameworks

  (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Relevant certifications such as:
  
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer
• Snowflake Certification
• Databricks Certification
