Data Engineer

As a Big Data Engineer with expertise in AWS and SQL, your role will involve building scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for diverse data sources. You will be responsible for cleaning, validating, and transforming data for business consumption. Additionally, you will develop data model objects (views, tables) for downstream usage and optimize storage and query performance in AWS environments. Collaboration with business & technical stakeholders, support for code reviews, documentation, and incident resolution are also key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Build scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for diverse data sources - Clean, validate, and transform data for business consumption - Develop data model objects (views, tables) for downstream usage - Optimize storage and query performance in AWS environments - Collaborate with business & technical stakeholders - Support code reviews, documentation, and incident resolution Qualifications: - Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) - Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills It is important to note that the preferred skills for this role include AWS Data Engineer Certification, experience with Spark, Hive, Kafka, Kinesis, Airflow, familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira (ITSM tools), and data modeling experience.,
