Data Engineer II

Role Overview: As a Data Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for managing and operating various data platforms including Tableau, Tableau bridge server, Databricks, Dbt, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, AWS DWS, AWS APP Flow, and PowerBI. You will closely collaborate with customers and team leads to ensure the smooth functioning of the cloud data platform. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot incidents and problems by collecting logs, investigating root causes, and resolving issues such as failed batches and infrastructure connectivity. - Knowledge Management: Create and update runbooks as required for efficient operations. - Governance: Monitor configuration changes to batches and cloud infrastructure, document them accurately, and align resources accordingly. - Communication: Act as a point of contact for customers, manage communication, escalate issues, and coordinate with off-site resources effectively. - Change Management: Coordinate resources for on-demand changes and engage stakeholders as necessary. - Request Management: Address user requests and update knowledge base documentation accordingly. - Incident and Problem Management: Perform root cause analysis, suggest preventive measures, and recommend enhancements for monitoring and systematic changes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. - 2-4 years of hands-on experience in configuring and managing Tableau, Databricks, and SQL-based data analytics solutions. - Proficiency in Tableau, Databricks, SQL, AWS services, and PowerBI. - Ability to read and write SQL queries and stored procedures. - Experience in AWS environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Capacity to convey technical information clearly and promote inclusiveness in small groups.,
