Data Engineer II

As a Data Engineer II at Personify Health, you play a crucial role in the Business Intelligence team, focusing on the healthcare and wellbeing industry. Your responsibilities include working closely with senior team members to develop complex BI reports and dashboards using your SQL skills and experience with MicroStrategy. You will be involved in understanding schema objects, building new analytics products, and supporting internal and external reporting for Health Comp data. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Senior Business Intelligence engineer and BI architect to build BI reports and Dashboards - Participate in sprint refinement, planning, and kick-off to understand Agile processes and priorities - Develop necessary transformations and aggregate tables for reporting and Dashboard needs - Create complex reports and Dashboards in MicroStrategy - Investigate and troubleshoot issues with Dashboards and reports - Research new technologies, propose process improvements, and maintain data accuracy through test cases and scenarios Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data warehousing - 3+ years of experience in MicroStrategy Reports and Dashboard development - 2+ years of experience in SQL - Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or ECE - Nice to have: Any MicroStrategy certifications In this role, you should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and teaching SQL concepts to others - Attention to detail in examining data and code for quality and accuracy - Proactive self-starter with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements - Strong understanding of relational and non-relational models, Datawarehouse concepts, and schema architectures - Familiarity with MicroStrategy Schema objects, OLAP, MTDI cubes, and data blending - Experience in developing complex dashboards and optimizing reports in MicroStrategy - Knowledge of security filters, connection mappings, and report optimization techniques in MicroStrategy At Personify Health, we foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that values the unique perspectives and experiences of every team member.
