About the role

Data Engineer

fully remote

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain

  end-to-end data pipelines

  using

  Python (Pandas, NumPy),

  PySpark,

  and

  BigQuery

  .
• Work with

  SQL

  and

  PySpark

  to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Develop and maintain

  Power BI

  reports (experience with other BI tools like Tableau or Looker is also welcome).
• Perform

  data cleaning, transformation, and enrichment

  from multiple formats (CSV, JSON, Parquet, APIs, web scraping, etc.).
• Integrate and optimize

  data storage and retrieval

  across databases, data lakes, or cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand reporting needs and deliver accurate, visually clear dashboards.
• Contribute to

  data model design

  and ensure high data quality and performance.
• Apply

  Machine Learning (ML)

  techniques to real-world data problems (experience in LLMs or predictive modeling is a strong plus).

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in

  data engineering or analytics

  .
• Strong programming skills in

  Python

  (especially Pandas, NumPy).
• Hands-on experience with

  PySpark

  (big plus) and

  SQL

  .
• Familiarity with

  data formats

  like CSV, JSON, Parquet, Avro, and Delta.
• Experience building

  Power BI

  dashboards (or similar BI tools).
• Understanding of

  data pipelines

  ,

  ETL/ELT

  , and

  workflow orchestration tools

  (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, or AWS Glue).
• Experience in

  Machine Learning

  , preferably with frameworks like

  scikit-learn

  ,

  TensorFlow

  , or

  PyTorch

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and detail.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related field is preferred, but optional for exceptional candidates.
