Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong expertise in Azure-based data engineering tools, along with proficiency in Python and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory, and exposure to healthcare data environments is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory Write efficient and clean Python and SQL scripts to manipulate, transform, and validate data Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions Ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity across data workflows Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes Document processes and create operational support documentation Required Skills: Azure Databricks Strong hands-on experience Python Proficient scripting and automation SQL Complex query writing and performance tuning Azure Data Factory Workflow orchestration and integration Nice to Have: Experience with SAS tools Exposure to healthcare data or related domains Familiarity with ETL concepts and data warehouse architecture Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred) Relevant certifications in Azure or data engineering (a plus)
