Data Engineer (Databricks Focus)

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines using

  Databricks (PySpark)

  for large-scale data processing.
• Optimize data workflows to improve performance, scalability, and reliability across the data ecosystem.
• Develop complex

  SQL queries

  and manage data transformations to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Take full ownership of tasks and deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Architects, and Business Analysts to understand data requirements.
• Implement best practices in data engineering, focusing on automation, reliability, and performance tuning.
• Manage cloud infrastructure components, preferably

  AWS services

  (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda).
• Work on data integration with

  Snowflake

  or other cloud data warehouses (preferred but not mandatory).

Key Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in

  Databricks, PySpark, and SQL development

  .
• Proven experience in building data pipelines in cloud environments.
• Good understanding of AWS cloud services related to data engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
