Job Description

Claidroid Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer Azure to design and build scalable, secure ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure-native tools for a mission-critical global data modernization project. The role involves ingesting and transforming structured and unstructured data, creating domain-specific data lakes and warehouse layers, and implementing real-time streaming architectures with Kafka and Spark. You ll work with technologies including Python, PySpark, Hive, MongoDB, and Cassandra, while embedding automation, monitoring, and TDD into workflows. The position requires collaboration with BI, analytics, governance, and infrastructure teams, and includes support for production releases via CI/CD-enabled pipelines.

Requirements

4 8 years of experience in data engineering
Proficient in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Unix/Linux scripting
Expertise with Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Docker, and Kubernetes
Hands-on experience with Kafka, Hive, Spark, Hadoop, and ELK stack
Knowledge of metadata-driven ingestion and streaming patterns
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
Bonus: Experience with Postgres, Oracle, SAS, or visualization tools like QlikSense
Strong attention to detail and performance-oriented mindset
