Data Engineer

Your role involves having IT experience with a minimum of 5+ years in creating data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT, data pipelines on cloud. You should have experience in data pipeline implementation with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, preferably in the Life Sciences Domain. Experience with cloud storage, cloud database, cloud Data Warehousing, and Data Lake solutions like Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS Redshift, ADLS, S3 is essential. You should also be familiar with cloud data integration services for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data like Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Glue, AWS EMR, Dataflow, Dataproc. Good knowledge of Infra capacity sizing, costing of cloud services to drive optimized solution architecture, leading to optimal infra investment vs performance and scaling is required. Your profile should demonstrate the ability to contribute to making architectural choices using various cloud services and solution methodologies. Expertise in programming using Python is a must. Very good knowledge of cloud DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, CI/CD components, and automated deployments on the cloud is essential. Understanding networking, security, design principles, and best practices in the cloud is expected. Knowledge of IoT and real-time streaming would be an added advantage. You will be leading architectural/technical discussions with clients and should possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
