Role Overview

Requirements

3+ years in data engineering
B.Tech/BE in CS or equivalent from a top-tier institution
Experience at a B2C startup preferred
Strong in data modeling, warehousing, and scalable pipelines

Tech Stack

Proficient in Python, advanced SQL and ETL tools (Airflow/Mage) for workflow orchestration
Skilled in handling high-throughput data streams with Apache Kafka, and experienced in working with diverse storage systems including ClickHouse for OLAP workloads
BigQuery for serverless analytics, and MySQL/MongoDB for relational and NoSQL use cases
Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), with practical knowledge of distributed framework like Spark/Hadoop

Responsibilities

Design and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines
Build scalable data lakes/warehouses
Ensure data quality, availability, and security
Collaborate with analysts, PMs, and ML teams
Monitor and optimize infrastructure
Contribute to data governance
