Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will need to have 5 to 10 years of experience in software/data engineering. Your proficiency should include working with SQL, NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and MongoDB, ETL tools, and data warehousing solutions. It is essential to have expertise in Python and familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) or GCP. Your role will also involve using data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Knowledge of data governance and security practices is crucial for maintaining data integrity. Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), will be beneficial. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required for collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies is necessary as you will be operating in Agile development environments. Additionally, having an understanding of AI and ML concepts, frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, and practical applications is expected. Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and their potential use cases will be an advantage.
