Data Engineer (6 months Contract)

About the role:

LRN is seeking a Data engineer to support our product team. You will work closely with team to develop new features and enhancements for our product. You will work independently with required support from wider technology team including BI developers, Data Engineers and Quality assurance team to deliver on requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze and organize raw data.
• Build data systems and pipelines.
• Combine raw information from different sources.
• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modelling.
• Build algorithms and create Proof of concepts.
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
• Person should have relevant work experience in analytics, reporting and business intelligence tools.
• Experience in working with Tableau
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects for project requirements.
• Communicate effectively with our partners, senior management, and peers.
• Tracking your task progress and highlight risks.
• Prepare documentation required for execution and maintenance of output

Requirements:

• Ability to understand requirement and work independently.
• Ability to work on complex SQL queries on Athena/Postgres.
• Should have handled NO-SQL data.
• Ability to work on AWS Glue job using Python and pyspark.
• Experience with AWS services like cloud formation, S3, DMS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Knowledge of MongoDB
• 4 years of experience with above or related skillset
