Data Conversion Specialist

As a Data Conversion Specialist, your role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data conversions throughout the process. You will collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand data conversion requirements and specifications, conduct data mapping and analysis, analyze existing data sets, perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities, develop and maintain data conversion processes and protocols, cleanse, validate, and enrich data, develop documentation, utilize data transformation tools and troubleshoot data issues, conduct testing and quality assurance checks, provide support and training to team members and clients, stay up-to-date with industry trends, collaborate with cross-functional teams, validate and test converted data, and more. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field - Proven experience in data conversion, migration, ETL processes - Proficiency in data manipulation languages (e.g., SQL) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience with data visualization methodologies - Familiarity with data governance principles - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Staying current with industry trends Preferred skills for this role include: - Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R - Experience with cloud-based data management solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) - Certifications related to data management (e.g., CDMP, DMBOK) The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for professional development, 2+ years of experience in data conversion, data management, or a related field, strong proficiency in database languages, a supportive and collaborative work environment, and flexible work arrangements including remote work options.,
