Data Consultant

Job description

We are looking for a high-energy individual for the role of Data Consultant Tableau Expert at Eucloid. The candidate will collaborate with client stakeholders on multiple projects, primarily focusing on building impactful visualizations and dashboards that drive business decisions. The candidate is expected to lead the following work-streams:

• Partner with business teams to understand analytical needs and translate them into intuitive, interactive dashboards.
• Design and develop scalable, user-friendly dashboards using Tableau.
• Define and implement visualization best practices to ensure clarity, consistency, and performance.
• Work closely with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy and availability for reporting.
• Lead dashboard requirement gathering sessions and translate business KPIs into visual formats.
• Conduct training and enablement sessions for client teams to maximize dashboard adoption.
• Hire, develop, and mentor junior visualization analysts in the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve dashboard capabilities and user experience

Ideal candidate will have following Background and Skills:

Background

• Undergraduate Degree in any quantitative discipline such as engineering, science, or economics from a top-tier institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in dashboard development in a product or consulting organization.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major visualization tool: Tableau, or Sigma Computing.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and dashboard performance optimization.
• Knowledge of SQL will be a plus.
• Experience in client-facing roles or consulting environments is preferred

Skills

• Strong Problem-solving and conflict resolution ability
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
• Ability to handle ambiguity and fast-paced environment. Prior experience in managing Director+ level stakeholders a plus.
• Ability to understand the technology stack, dependencies between applications and how the data flows between them.
• Highly adaptable to change and an excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate
