Data Centre Project Manager

As a Data Centre Project Manager at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing data hall fit-out projects in Pune, India. Your role will involve ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will need to have extensive experience in data center construction and the ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all phases of data hall fit-out projects, including initiation, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. - Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring strong communication, managing expectations, and maintaining satisfaction throughout the project. - Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project budgets, track costs, approve invoices, and implement cost-control measures. - Create, maintain, and manage comprehensive project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement strategies to keep the project on track. - Implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry best practices, codes, and client requirements. - Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation plans, and lead the project team to achieve project goals. - Maintain accurate project documentation, provide regular updates to senior management and clients, and highlight progress, challenges, and milestones. Qualifications Required: - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Strong command of project management methodologies. - In-depth understanding of data center infrastructure and critical systems. - Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in data center construction or complex commercial environments. - PMP certification is preferred, additional certifications such as RCDD, BICSI DCDC, CDCDP, LEED are advantageous. - Stable employment history demonstrating successful project delivery.
