Description
As a Data Excellence Data Architect, your role involves being an expert in technical and functional aspects of customer and partner engagements for successful data management projects. You play a critical role in shaping and executing projects in Salesforce data space, providing subject matter expertise, managing risk areas, and ensuring successful project delivery. Your responsibilities also include configuring solutions to meet customer requirements, aligning on client-specific proposals, and developing best practices within the data excellence community. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Salesforce data excellence practice - Lead development of multi-year Data platform capabilities roadmaps for internal business units - Facilitate enterprise information & data strategy development - Maximize value derived from data & analytics by leveraging data assets - Translate business requirements into technical specifications - Define data architecture framework, standards, and principles - Design and implement effective data solutions and models - Prepare accurate dataset, architecture, and identity mapping design - Research and evaluate new sources of information and technologies - Lead architecture governance, compliance, and security activities - Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions **Qualifications and Skills:** - BA/BS degree or foreign equivalent - 10+ years of experience in Marketing data & Data management space - Minimum 1 year of hands-on full lifecycle CDP implementation experience - 5+ years of experience with data management, data transformation, ETL - Experience with Data architecture and batch/real-time ingestion - Relevant Salesforce experience and certifications - Experience with master data management, data governance, data security - Deep data integration and migration experience with Salesforce.com - Expertise in complex SQL statements and RDBMS systems - Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Pentaho, Talend - Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Privacy concepts and regulations **Additional Company Details:** - Ability to work independently and be a self-starter - Comfort and ability to learn new technologies quickly & thoroughly - Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills - Demonstrated ability to influence a group audience and lead discussions - Travel to client site required (up to 50%) As a Data Excellence Data Architect, your role involves being an expert in technical and functional aspects of customer and partner engagements for successful data management projects.
