Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to design, implement, and manage the data infrastructure. As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the data strategy, ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and secure across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to develop scalable data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational needs. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement effective database solutions (on-prem / cloud) and data models to store and retrieve data for various applications within FinCrime domain. Develop and maintain robust data architecture strategies aligned with business objectives. Define data standards, frameworks, and governance practices to ensure data quality and integrity. Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to integrate data systems and optimize data pipelines. Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies for data management, warehousing, and processing. Create and maintain documentation related to data models, architecture diagrams, and processes. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA). Participate in capacity planning and growth forecasting for the organization’s data infrastructure. Through various POCs, assess and compare multiple tooling options and deliver use-cases based on MVP model as per expectations. Requirements Experience: 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles. Proven experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Experience with FinCrime domain applications and reporting. Strong experience with ETL tools, data warehousing, and data lake solutions. Familiarity with other data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Snowflake. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data modelling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, Erwin). Excellent understanding of database management systems and data security. Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams. Subject matter expertise within the FinCrime. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in open-source tech stack / Snowflake for building data platforms.
