Data Architect

As a skilled Data Architect specializing in Snowflake, your main role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based data architecture. You will be tasked with building scalable and high-performance data solutions using Snowflake and associated data ecosystem tools. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing robust, scalable Snowflake-based data architectures. - Leading the development and optimization of data models to support analytics, reporting, and operational workflows. - Collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Establishing and enforcing data architecture standards, governance, and best practices. - Designing and implementing data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Informatica, and Talend. - Optimizing Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, caching, and query tuning. - Defining data security, access controls, and data masking strategies within Snowflake. - Integrating Snowflake with various data sources including AWS, Azure, GCP, APIs, and on-prem systems. - Staying updated with Snowflake's evolving features and recommending adoption. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Experience in data architecture, data engineering, or database development. - Hands-on experience with Snowflake in production environments. - Strong knowledge of data modeling, including star/snowflake schemas and dimensional modeling. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
