To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, with a Master's degree being preferred. You should also possess extensive technical expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and big data technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, and Hadoop. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL pipeline development is essential for seamless data ingestion, transformation, and integration. Moreover, you should have a deep understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and governance best practices. Experience in implementing data security and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare regulations, is crucial.
