Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a Data & Analytics Subject Matter Expert with deep expertise in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence (BI), and AWS cloud ecosystems . This role demands strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and collaboration across technical and business teams to deliver impactful data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Data Architecture & Engineering Design and implement scalable, high-performance data solutions on AWS. Build robust data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data lake architectures. Enforce data quality, security, and governance practices. 2. Business Intelligence & Insights Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight. Define data models and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with business teams to extract insights that drive action. 3. Cloud & Advanced Analytics Deploy data warehousing solutions using Redshift, Glue, S3, Athena, and other AWS services. Optimize storage and processing strategies for performance and cost-efficiency. Explore AI/ML integrations for predictive and advanced analytics (preferred). 4. Collaboration & Best Practices Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, business) to align on data needs. Champion best practices in data governance, compliance, and architecture. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related discipline. Experience 10+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, and analytics domains. Proven experience with AWS data tools and modern data architectures. Technical Skills Strong command of AWS services: Redshift, Glue, S3, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis. Proficient in SQL, Python, or Scala. Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows and data models. Expertise in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, or Looker. Familiarity with AI/ML models and frameworks is a plus. Certifications Preferred: AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty. Additional certifications in AWS, data engineering, or analytics are a plus.
