As a Data Analyst, your role will involve working with various data tools and technologies to extract, clean, analyze, and visualize data to derive valuable insights for the business. Your key responsibilities will include: - Data Cleaning: Utilizing Excel/Google Sheets for data cleaning, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and creating charts. - SQL: Extracting and querying data from databases using SQL. - Programming: Using Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation. - Data Visualization: Utilizing tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data Studio for creating impactful visualizations. - Statistical Analysis: Applying statistical methods and hypothesis testing to understand data patterns. - Data Cleaning & Wrangling: Preprocessing messy data to make it suitable for analysis. - Machine Learning Basics: Optional but valuable knowledge in predictive analytics, regression, and classification. - Big Data Tools: Familiarity with advanced tools like Hadoop and Spark for certain roles. - ETL Tools: Understanding of data pipelines and integration tools. - Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure for storage and analysis at scale.
