Data Analyst - Qlik

Role: Data Analyst (Qlik Sense Developer)

Purpose of Role:

A Qlik Sense Developer plays a pivotal role in harnessing the power of data through the development of interactive and insightful dashboards using Qlik Sense. Leveraging their expertise, they ensure that data is not just organized but transformed into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across all business verticals.

Key Accountabilities:

Responsibilities will encompass, but not be limited to:

- Developing interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense.

- Extracting and transforming data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability within Qlik Sense applications.

- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.

- Implementing best practices for data modelling, visualization design, and dashboard development within the Qlik Sense environment.

- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users of Qlik Sense applications.

- Continuously improving and optimizing existing Qlik Sense applications to enhance performance and usability.

Technical Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience developing dashboards using Qlik Sense.

- Proficiency in Qlik scripting and data modelling.

- Strong understanding of SQL for data manipulation and extraction.

- Experience with integrating Qlik Sense with other systems and platforms.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Qlik Sense certification(s) is a plus.

- Experience working with cloud-based Qlik Sense deployments (e.g., Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS).

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
