Role Overview: As a Data Analyst II at Booking, you will be the driver for analytics tasks such as reporting, visualization, and analysis within your area. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand and solve business problems through the application of data analytics. Your role will involve managing stakeholders, prioritizing for business impact, adapting to business needs, and delivering scalable solutions. Additionally, you will mentor peers in your team and ensure data quality and stability. Key Responsibilities: - Own the design and delivery of entire Data Analytics solutions based on business requirements, from idea-generation to implementation independently. - Work autonomously on consuming data, preparing it for analytical use, and translating business problems to data stories to deliver customer value. - Deliver work within your team to inform business decisions, occasionally collaborating across multiple teams. - Use data analysis and data visualization skills to efficiently answer business questions and create insightful visualizations for actionable insights. - Identify and manage stakeholders, communicate effectively, and guide junior colleagues in stakeholder engagement. - Adapt existing and new Data Analytics approaches, expand technical competencies, and spot opportunities for improvement. - Utilize Data Analytics for impact while focusing on scalability, reproducibility, and long-term orientation. - Act as a mentor for junior peers, contribute to the community, and connect with peers beyond your area. - Collaborate with peers in related crafts, anticipate data needs, and ensure smooth progress of projects. - Understand the operational, tactical, and strategic goals of your area and wider business unit. - Ensure the quality of your work through peer review and influence business decisions within your specific area.
