Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with 610 years of experience in handling large volumes of cloud cost, usage, and operational data. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cloud cost optimization, data analysis, and building insightful dashboards using modern BI tools. Key Responsibilities: Analyze semi-structured/unstructured data using Python to derive actionable insights. Design and execute SQL queries to manipulate, retrieve, and optimize large datasets. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau . Utilize AWS (Athena, Glue) and GCP (BigQuery) services for cloud cost data analysis. Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams to track and optimize cloud usage and spend. Build automated pipelines and cost optimization reports that drive savings and accountability. Support budget forecasting and anomaly detection through data models and visualization. Required Skills: Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and integration. Proficiency in SQL for querying structured and semi-structured datasets. Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for data visualization and reporting. Practical knowledge of AWS Glue, Athena and GCP BigQuery . Proven experience in cloud cost optimization and FinOps principles. Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of cloud cost management tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability). Exposure to financial planning, budgeting, or forecasting in cloud environments. Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
