Job Description

Key responsibilities for this analyst include:

Requirements Gathering:
Collaborating with stakeholders across various departments (e.g., IT Operations, Security, Business Intelligence) to understand their data needs and key performance indicators (
KPIs
).
Data Exploration and Search:
Utilizing Elasticsearch's powerful search capabilities
Dashboard and Visualization Development:

Designing, building, and maintaining
dashboards
to display real-time and historical data trends.
Creating a variety of visualizations (e.g., time series charts, heat maps, tables, geospatial maps) to effectively communicate insights.

Reporting:
Generating automated or ad-hoc reports (often in PDF, PNG, or CSV formats) from data and saved searches to share with management and other teams.
Data Analysis:
Interpreting data within the dashboards to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and potential issues, providing clear and concise insights to non-technical users.
Alerting and Monitoring:
Setting up and managing
Alerts
based on specific thresholds or data anomalies to proactively notify teams of critical events.
Data Integrity:
Working with data engineers to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data indexed in Elasticsearch.
