Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Data Modeling:

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with IBM UDMH.
Extend IBM UDMH models to meet custom organizational requirements.
Create source-to-target mapping documents and maintain data lineage.

Data Analysis & Profiling:

Conduct comprehensive data profiling across healthcare systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena, Oracle FDI).
Assess data quality, granularity, volume, and frequency.
Ensure consistency and reliability of healthcare datasets.

Collaboration & Documentation:

Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define subject-area models.
Align with data modeling standards and naming conventions.
Document metadata and maintain data governance protocols.

Tools & Technical Skills:

Use ER/Studio, ERwin, PowerDesigner for data modeling.
Utilize SQL, Python, and Unix for ETL scripting and data transformation.
Work with Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
