Data Analyst

Role & Responsibilities:

• Analyze large volumes of financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights.
  
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and trackers tailored to business requirements.
  
• Develop, optimize, and automate Excel-based tools/templates to streamline reporting and analysis.
  
• Use advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, nested formulas, IF, etc.) for accurate reporting.
  
• Apply conditional formatting, data validation, and Excel shortcuts to improve usability and efficiency.
  
• Automate recurring/routine tasks using advanced Excel techniques and logic (macros preferred).
  
• Extract, clean, and manipulate data using SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE) for reporting purposes.
  
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reports and dashboards.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and provide data-driven insights.
  
• Support business decision-making through timely and relevant performance analysis.
  
• Document reporting processes, templates, and automation logic for internal reference.
  
• Stay updated with industry best practices in reporting, analytics, and automation.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, INDEX-MATCH, nested formulas, conditional formatting, macros preferred).
  
• Working knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE).
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  
• Prior experience in MIS/Reporting/Data Analysis roles.
  
• Exposure to NBFC/financial services sector preferred but not mandatory.
  
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver accurate reports.
