Role & Responsibilities: Analyze large volumes of financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights. Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and trackers tailored to business requirements. Develop, optimize, and automate Excel-based tools/templates to streamline reporting and analysis. Use advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, nested formulas, IF, etc.) for accurate reporting. Apply conditional formatting, data validation, and Excel shortcuts to improve usability and efficiency. Automate recurring/routine tasks using advanced Excel techniques and logic (macros preferred). Extract, clean, and manipulate data using SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE) for reporting purposes. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reports and dashboards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and provide data-driven insights. Support business decision-making through timely and relevant performance analysis. Document reporting processes, templates, and automation logic for internal reference. Stay updated with industry best practices in reporting, analytics, and automation. Preferred Candidate Profile: Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or related fields. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, INDEX-MATCH, nested formulas, conditional formatting, macros preferred). Working knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Prior experience in MIS/Reporting/Data Analysis roles. Exposure to NBFC/financial services sector preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver accurate reports.
