We specialize in the care and conservation of A2 Gir and Desi cows, sustainable agriculture, and ethical dairy practices. Our mission is to build a model Goshala that blends tradition, technology, and animal welfare.

Vedasvi Farm , Durg are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Dairy Assistant Manager to oversee the daily management, health, productivity, and overall well-being of our A2 Gir and Desi cows. The candidate will play a key role in herd management, feed planning, breeding, and implementing SOPs to ensure smooth and profitable dairy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Goshala and herd.
• Ensure the health, hygiene, and welfare of all A2 Gir and Desi cows.
• Plan and monitor feed and nutrition, including ration balancing, fodder management, and supplements.
• Implement and improve SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for automated and efficient dairy operations.
• Manage breeding operations: heat detection, insemination support, calving management, and breed improvement programs.
• Track and record milk production, animal health data, breeding cycles, and feed inventory.
• Coordinate with veterinarians for preventive care, vaccinations, and treatments.
• Supervise farm workers and ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and animal welfare standards.
• Support management in increasing productivity, efficiency, and profitability of dairy operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with dairy farms or cattle management (indigenous breeds preferred).
• Strong understanding of cow health, nutrition, and behavior.
• Ability to manage workers and coordinate day-to-day Goshala operations.
• Knowledge of feed planning, breeding cycles, and dairy hygiene practices.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Passion for ethical, natural, and sustainable dairy practices.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with Gir or other Desi breeds.
• Exposure to natural or organic dairy practices.
• Ability to handle basic farm machinery or automated dairy systems.
• Feed management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,813.91 - ₹15,000.00 per month
