The Opportunity

We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our IT Security team. Reporting to the Cybersecurity Lead this role is ideal for someone early in their cyber security career who wants hands-on experience across multiple security domains in a global environment. You will play a key role in protecting our systems and data while gaining exposure to advanced security technologies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts from endpoint, network, cloud, and email security platforms
• Perform initial investigation of security events, including phishing email analysis
• Identify and escalate suspicious activity in line with incident response procedures
• Support basic threat detection and threat hunting activities
• Assist with vulnerability management, including reviewing findings, validating issues, and tracking technical remediation
• Document investigations and maintain security records

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master s degree is a plus)
• Understanding of cyber security fundamentals (malware, ransomware, phishing, networking)
• Familiarity with security alert investigation and basic log analysis
• Basic knowledge of vulnerability management concepts (CVEs, CVSS, patching fundamentals)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
• Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or ISO 27001

Desirable

• Exposure to a SOC or security operations environment
• Relevant entry-level certifications (or working towards), such as:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Blue Team Level 1
  • Microsoft SC-900 or similar
• Collaborative mindset and desire to work in cross-functional teams.
