Cybersecurity Analyst

The ideal candidate should bring a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and industry best practices to the table. A technical background in information security is essential for this position, along with some relevant knowledge cybersecurity audits and assessments. Any prior training experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the design, implementation, and effectiveness of security controls and make recommendations for improvement by following NIST standards. ISO exposure is an added plus.
• Maintain, review and take ownership of the existing standard operating procedures and policies as per the NIST standards.
• Work on continuing the progress on implementing the standard policies and procedures, and regularly audit the progress and assess them as per the defined interval.
• Plan and conduct comprehensive cybersecurity audits using the predefined formats to assess the organization s information security posture and identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Ensure that audits are completed in accordance with professional standards and the organization s internal audit processes.
• Keep track of the latest cyber threats, trends, and best practices in the industry and provide recommendations for improving the organization s cybersecurity posture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement remediation actions.
• Provide training and guidance to other team members on cybersecurity and safe practices.
• Closely work with IT admin team to cover cybersecurity related support and tasks.
• Regularly assess and define audit intervals to identify the level of coverage of each policy and standards.
• Carry out research work in terms of cybersecurity as and when presented.
• Carry out any tests or simulations to identify cyber threats within our subsidiaries and provide recommendations to avoid vulnerabilities.
