As a Cyber Engineer at Maersk, you play a crucial role in managing and reducing the cyber security risks to ensure a safe and secure environment for the company to achieve its business objectives. Your technical expertise and collaboration skills are vital in proactively supporting the cyber Ops function to minimize the attack surface and enhance cybersecurity measures. **Key Responsibilities**: - Identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities within Maersk's eco systems and networks. - Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on IT systems, networks, and applications. - Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and potential impact. - Develop and implement remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities. - Collaborate with extended cyber teams for timely issue resolution. - Monitor security alerts and threat intelligence to stay informed about emerging threats. - Maintain and update vulnerability management tools and systems. - Prepare and present reports on vulnerability status, trends, and remediation progress. - Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices. - Provide guidance and training on vulnerability management and security awareness as needed. **Qualifications Required**: - A passionate security professional with technical skills and a desire to make a difference in a challenging environment. - Experience in working effectively in an agile environment. - Technical insight (CompTIA Security/CASP+ or equivalent is an advantage). - Proficiency with tools such as Confluence and Jira.
