Job Description

As a Customer Service Team Lead at Mouser Electronics, you will be responsible for managing daily customer service operations and staff to ensure service excellence and maximize new business opportunities. Your key responsibilities include: - Managing the assigned Customer Service office with integrity and ethical business practices - Providing support for other departments and branches as needed - Developing and maintaining a productive work team by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance - Gratifying and astonishing customers with service excellence - Demonstrating knowledge, experience, and understanding of distribution - Developing results-oriented customer service strategies - Managing daily operations to meet department and company objectives - Pursuing business opportunities beyond customer requests - Understanding and correctly working with multiple currencies, profit margins, markups, competitive pricing strategies, and other requirements for processing international orders - Expanding product knowledge utilizing all available sources - Keeping yourself current regarding industry trends, practices, and news You should possess the following skills and certifications: - Bilingual - fluent verbal and written in local language and English. Additional languages may be required - Proficient typing and math skills including currency conversions and profit margins - Professional writing and presentation skills - PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other software - Internet savvy and familiarity with E-Commerce In terms of education and experience, a Bachelor's Degree in any field or a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required. For internal candidates, a minimum of 1 full year as a highly performing Lead/Coordinator and a total of 2 years as a highly performing Mouser employee is necessary.
